Big Changes Are Rolling In!
The officers and members of the Jennerstown Fire Department, are very proud to announce the purchase of a new fire engine!
The engine will be a 2025 Spartan chassis, Spencer Fire Truck Manufacturing body. The new engine should be delivered April 2025. This truck will replace a 27-year-old truck. The new truck will have many new safety features, along with being designed to be used with less man power. We would like to thank the citizens of our fire protection area, along with Jennerstown Borough, and Jenner Township for your support. Please continue to support our ongoing fund-raising projects. We will post more pictures, as they become available.

ON THE PROPOSED FINANCING BY Jennerstown Fire Department
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Jennerstown Fire Department located in Jennerstown, Pennsylvania (the issuer) will allow for public comment on June 17th 2024 at 6:00 PM via the following local or toll free phone number number: 814-629-5371, for the purpose of holding a public hearing pursuant to the requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, on a proposal the issuer to enter into an agreement to finance certain equipment. The equipment to be financed consists of One (1) New Spencer/Spartan Pumper Truck and will be maintained at the fire station in Jennerstown, Pennsylvania.
To finance the costs of such equipment and to pay costs and expenses incidental to the financing, the issuer proposes to enter into a loan agreement with a maximum aggregate principal amount not to exceed $674,805.00. The Issuer will be required to pay all taxes on the equipment. The rental payments due pursuant to the loan agreement will be secured by a security interest in the equipment.
All persons interested may phone in and be heard at said time and place or may file written comments with the Jennerstown Fire Department prior to the date of hearing set forth heretofore.
